About / The Story of CinProCaS®
The story behind a visual cinematography planning system.
CinProCaS® was created from practical filmmaking experience and from a long-term search for a clearer way to structure visual thinking before production begins.
41 Years of professional experience

Built on decades of filmmaking experience
CinProCaS® did not begin as a software idea alone. It grew out of practical work in cinematography, production, and visual storytelling across many years of professional experience.
The system was developed step by step from real production needs — with the intention of making visual preparation clearer, more structured, and easier to communicate.
Where the idea began
The original idea behind CinProCaS® was simple: the visual and technical planning of a film should not remain scattered across different notes, sketches, and disconnected tools.
Visual thinking
The system was shaped around the way cinematographers think in images before the shoot.
Structured planning
CinProCaS® was designed to connect screenplay, camera, lighting, and technical notes inside one coherent workflow.
Production clarity
The goal was never complexity, but clarity — to help the crew understand the visual plan more easily before production begins.
A meaningful encouragement
During the development of the concept, the project also received thoughtful professional encouragement from Academy Award-winning cinematographer Vilmos Zsigmond.

His response to the idea represented an important moment in the early development of the system and confirmed that the concept had genuine professional value.
“It’s so good that I’m wondering how come no one else has thought about it.”
The development of the CinProCaS system
CinProCaS® evolved gradually over many years — from the first idea to the mobile version, and later toward the collaborative desktop concept.

CinProCaS in the filmmaking community
Over time, CinProCaS® was introduced in professional filmmaking environments through articles, presentations, and festival appearances.
